In a nasty case of super irony, Zac Efron was rushed to the hospital recently with a life threatening illness, which he developed while filming “Killing Zach Effron”. Now stable, the 32 year old is speaking out.
According to Australia’s Sunday Telegraph, Efron allegedly contracted typhoid or a bacterial infection while filming in Papua New Guinea.
On Sunday night, the actor took to social media to confirm the news about falling ill. Posting a snap from Papua New Guinea with several children, Zach broke his silence.
“Very thankful to everyone who has reached out.
I did get sick in Papua New Guinea but I bounced back quick and finished an amazing 3 weeks in P.N.G.
I’m home for the holidays with my friends and family. Thanks for all the love and concern, see you in 2020!”
