Soccer stars Ashlyn Harris and Ali Krieger have married in a Miami, Florida ceremony with Orlando Pride player Harris calling it ‘the most magical day of my life’.
They exchanged rings by Great Heights, selected because they ‘share the same vision and support surrounding equality and LGBTQ marriage rights’. Krieger told People.
Following their nuptials, the happy couple cut a layer cake to reveal a rainbow sponge with Harris joking to Instagram followers that she can now eat carbs.
Harris, 34, wore a custom Thom Browne black silk faille tuxedo with an organza and beaded overlay in an argyle pattern and Umbro socks pulled high to wed her teammate, 35, who said ‘I do’ at the Vizcaya Museum and Gardens wearing a deep-V back white gown by Pronovias.
