Award-winning songwriter Allee Willis has died at the age of 72, it has been confirmed today.
Willis’ death was confirmed by her long-term partner Prudence Fenton, who wrote on Instagram: ‘Rest In Boogie Wonderland Nov 10, 1947-December 24, 2019’.
The 72-year-old died from a heart attack at her home in Los Angeles yesterday.
Willis is best known for composing ‘I’ll Be There for You’ by The Rembrandts which became the iconic soundtrack to the hit sitcom Friends.
