The Duchess of Sussex, 38, and Prince Harry, 35, introduced son Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor to Archbishop Desmond Tutu in Cape Town on Wednesday morning — and the baby boy wore fast-fashion.
For the occasion, Markle stepped out in a blue and white ikat dress from Club Monaco ($289) and pulled from another popular retailer for 4-month-old Archie’s first official royal appearance. Archie wore blue and white striped bib overalls — matching his mom’s color palette — from H&M that retail for just $19.99.
Harry got into the family’s blue color palette in a simple navy suit.
The couple — avid environmentalists who have come under fire recently for apparent hypocrisy when it comes to private air travel — seem to be practicing sustainability when it comes to their son’s clothes. The overalls as well as a short-sleeved white bodysuit, which came with the set but which Archie didn’t wear, are part of H&M’s eco-friendly Conscious line and made out of organic cotton.
