Travis Barker Heading Back to LA by Bus

And I don’t blame him one bit!

Photo agencies are reporting that Travis Barker (along with Shanna Moakler) is traveling from Augusta, Georgia to Los Angeles in a luxury bus equipped for all his medical needs.

DJ AM traveled home by bus, too.

Travis will be taken to the Grossman Burn Center in Santa Ana for further treatment and additional surgery, but he’ll be much closer to his kids this way.

If I could afford a luxury bus, I’d never travel anywhere by plane either. I hate flying!

  • I don’t blame him either… I ONLY travel by luxury bus. Ok maybe not LUXURY, but definitely first class.

Fine… city transit with three connections…. but sometimes I get to sit by the window and there’s always complementary gum…under my seat.

  • Gotta get back up on that horse!
…certainly doesn’t have to be now, so soon after all that he’s been through (I get that). Be strong and get well!

  • With his line of work I’m thinking he’ll have to get past his fear (again, not at this exact moment with all the crap he’s just been through). I don’t think that buses travel internationally.

  • I wonder if it’s not a phobia but just easier for his burn treatments. Planes don’t exactly have a lot of room.

  • i’d really like to know if all his tattoos are alive and well, considering all these burns he’s supposed to have.

  • The last thing you’d want to do aftera plane crash is hop back in a plane home, no matter how unlikely another accident would be.

I have to say though, there are some nutters on the road. At least you don’t have people driving like lunatics all around you up in the air!

  • I’m with Asta – I was thinking it had more to do with their burns than their fears – they could roll you out of the hospital & onto a bus, can’t do that even with a private jet, & they seem to be leaving the hospital rather quickly. No way are they done with burn treatment yet. Probably a combination tho, planes can’t be looking good to them right now.
