Hi Everyone,
My name is Anastasia Ashley. I am a professional surfer who has spent the last 15 years of my life traveling around the world surfing. I’ve seen everything from the very hard to get to, very remote areas of the world to some of the best designed hotels and restaurants in the world.
I’ve always been obsessed with design.
This past year, I was finally decided to buy my first house. It was a huge decision because I lived out of suitcase for so long. I was traveling over 250 days a year and my home was really on the road. Having a home base was something I always wanted to do, you know a place to go back to after the surf trips. So I made the big decision and it turned out to be the right decision!
When I was shopping around for houses, I saw so many options but I fell in love with the house I ended up buying. It was just perfect for both me and my boyfriend, but when I bought it, you needed a little bit of vision and imagination to see it. It was definitely not what it is today and some may even say it was a bit of a nightmare, very neglected and it needed a full remodel. I ended up spending over 6 months coordinating.
The most exciting part of the process for me was the design process. Figuring out the look and feel I wanted. The furnitures and the accessories and I stumbled upon a site you’ve probably all seen before called Society6 .
They have the most insane and amazing collection of art that you can basically get printed on everything! So when I made sure to reach out to them and ask to collaborate on this process.
These some pics of the finished product! I’m super happy with how cute everything was and all my guests who come through ask me where I got the great accessories and I always tell them to head over to Society6 ….because they won’t be disappointed with any of their purchases. They have something for everyone!
