Counting Crows have announced their Live Nation-produced 25 Years and Counting North American world tour, with special guests +LIVE+ joining them during a majority of the dates.
This ‘90s revival tour promises to celebrate the group’s history and studio albums to date while pointing toward the future. Counting Crows have a reputation for unpredictable, career-spanning set lists peppered with a diverse amount of covers, which would seem to be the MO here: fans should expect the band’s hits like “Mr. Jones” and “Round Here,” but presented through an entirely different show in each city.
“The nice thing about having 25 years of music to celebrate and seven studio albums we absolutely love to choose from is that we can play a different show every night,” said Crows frontman Adam Duritz. “The nice thing about touring with +LIVE+ is that we get to spend yet another summer with old friends who play great music. We can’t wait!”
Along with the tour announcement, Duritz has also announced a new podcast, Underwater Sunshine!, a series of far-out, eclectic conversations between Duritz and author/music journalist James Campion.
