Instagram wasn’t even a word in the dictionary when Audrey Hepburn played Holly Golightly in “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” — but chances are she’d turn up her button nose at the thought of it.
Not today’s Tiffany shoppers. The jeweler’s new Blue Box Cafe is all about an Instagramable moments says Nomura-Instinet analyst Simeon Siegel of the all-blue fourth-floor eatery.
“It’s more likely to drive someone who is looking to post and showcase their Tiffany experience,” Siegel told The Post of the e-commerce-challenged retailer. It could “end up on a tourist checklist of New York things to do,” Siegel added.
But the jury’s still out on whether Big Apple locals are interested in forking out $29 for breakfast or $49 for lunch with tea service.
