A lot of people put down the Burning Man festival for having gone corporate or elitist in the last decade. What with the private jet parking and all the celebrity inclusion. Although Paris Hilton is hardly a cause for concern. She’ll go almost anywhere.
But I still cherish the tons of art and costumery that gets made for the event each August in the desert of Nevada. It’s really a setting like no other and despite the fact that the uberwealthy like to chill in the same sandy playa, doesn’t mean you can’t appreciate the scenery as well.
The festival ends Monday, September 4th.
