A Brooklyn actress who appeared in the Netflix sitcom “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt” reportedly committed suicide in a hotel room in Peru.
Lisa Lynn Masters, 52, was found dead by workers Tuesday at the Nuevo Mundo hotel in Lima, the Peru 21 newspaper reported.
The actress, who also appeared in “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit,” “Gossip Girl” and “Ugly Betty,” hanged herself, according to the newspaper.
A GoFundMe page set up to help with funeral costs said Masters’ “warmth, generosity and tenacious strength will be deeply missed.”
The Brooklyn resident will be buried in her hometown of Asheville, NC.
