Jimmy Feigen, Gunnar Bentz and Jack Conger
Last week Olympic Swimmer Ryan Lochte and three other swimmers, claimed to have been mugged at gunpoint while out on the town in Rio. And while that was a wild thing to have happen, there really wasn’t much more talk about it again.
Then Wednesday, Rio Police said they’ve found no evidence supporting the claim. And a Brazilian judge ruled that the passports of fellow swimmers James Feigen and Ryan Lochte should be seized after discrepancies emerged in their accounts of what transpired in the early hours of Sunday morning. Besides discrepancies regarding how many assailants there were, or how many guns, the men are seen on camera soon after when they attack was said to have occurred. All 4 men appear to be laughing and unaffected.
Lochte’s attorney, however, says his client (as well as Feigen) is already back in the US. Not so lucky were two of the other swimmers from the night in question, Jack Conger and Gunnar Bentz, who were stopped and removed from their flight Wednesday night.
