TLC execs were shitting themselves when they were forced to cancel 19 Kids and Counting a few months ago following Josh Duggar‘s extensive scandals. He’s a child molester, a cheater, a porn addict… and that’s just what we know of. But the cut, while necessary in order to avoid a terrible backlash, cost the network a lot of money that they want to make up in any way possible. Their solution? Air two one-off specials focusing on two of Josh’s victims, his sisters Jill and Jessa. Keep it classy, TLC!

So far untitled, they will feature Jill Dillard, 24, who, with her husband, Derick, and their infant son are preparing to move to El Salvador for missionary work, and sister Jessa Seewald, 22, who with her husband Ben is expecting their first child on Nov. 1.
“What we will be following in these specials is Jessa preparing for her first child,” TLC Executive Vice President and General Manager Nancy Daniels told The Associated Press, “and we’ll be watching Jill preparing to make a major move to Central America with her family, which we know is something our audience will be interested in.”
The project, Daniels said, came together quickly “after talking with the girls and understanding that this was something they wanted to do.
“We know that our audience is really excited about what’s been going on with Jill and Jessa as they move into young adulthood,” said Daniels. “And now they’re both at the precipice of big changes. With what was happening in their lives in the next few months, it felt like now is the time (for the specials), and we got going pretty quickly.”
TLC has made it clear that Josh will never be part of any future TLC programming, but what they fail to recognize is that Josh is only part (a big part, mind) of the problem. The entire Duggar family is like a cult and has seriously fucked up values, so why do we continue to promote them?
It’s f*cked up that Southern white trash are losing all their favorite tv shows about themselves. First Honey BooBoo now the Duggars.
Don’t hold your breath girls!!!!!!!!! The general public got the first Duggar show cancelled and the sponsors to drop out; and they will do it again. If TLC gets enough negativity and the sponsors are threatened with boycotting of their product; they will pull out again. Jill and Derrick begged fans to send money for their “mission” and are now under heavy scrutiny as to what they are doing with the money except for flying themselves and their family and friend of the family back and forth to El Salvador. She nor Derrick have yet to respond to the questions. Jill just recently posted on line asking what few fans they have left to send money or gift cards for the new baby. These girls and husbands need to put their time to better use. Instead of spending time inventing ways to beg for money, they should be putting their efforts toward getting jobs and supporting themselves and their families. Why do all the Duggars think the world owes them a living?
