Anna Kendrick seems to be every modern girl’s girlcrush, and it’s only going to grow — the Pitch Perfect 2 star just got herself a book deal. People love her for her honesty and it looks like that’s going to be served up in her upcoming book, which is not an autobiography, but a collection of essays about her life.

I’m excited to publish my first book, and because I get uncomfortable when people have high expectations, I’d like to use this opportunity to showcase my ineptitude, pettiness, and the frequency with which I embarrass myself. And while many of my female inspirations who have become authors are incredibly well-educated and accomplished comedy writers, I’m very, very funny on Twitter, according to BuzzFeed and my mom, so I feel like this is a great idea. Quick question: are run-on sentences still frowned upon? Wait, is ending a sentence with a preposition still frowned upon? I mean, upon frowned? Dammit!
As of now, the book is due for a fall release in 2016.
Personally, I don’t quite “get” Anna Kendrick. I mean yeah, she’s got some funny tweets:

…but I don’t quite get the fandom that she’s created. I don’t hate her, I just don’t love her. To me, she’s just kinda…there. And she’s always at every celebrity event. Like she’ll go to the opening of a cereal box. Maybe I’m just on Anna Kendrick overload.

I find her to be irritating. In the same way a lot of people find Anna Hathaway annoying (who I am impervious to) I couldn’t care less tbh
