Apparently there’s a cat cafe called Lady Dinah’s Cat Emporium in London, where you can go and have a brew while some cats walk around and rub themselves against your leg or whatever. The practice originated in Japan and is being copied everywhere now, it seems… and for good reason: they’re INCREDIBLY popular and apparently booked solid.
According to a report from The Sun, Katy Perry was desperate to get into Lady Dinah’s while she was here over the past month or two touring, but she was turned away and told there was no space for her on the guest list. Of course, that’s not actually true and Lady Dinah’s is actually desperate for Kitty Purry herself to pay the place a visit.
Owner Lauren Pears tells E! News, “We would love Katy Perry to come here. She’s a huge cat lover. And would be great to bring attention to the rescue cats we have. We never heard from her team so we definitely didn’t deny her coming here. We would love her to come here. Our door is always open to her.”
Well, there you have it. Lady Dinah’s awaits you, Katy. Frankly, I think I’d prefer a puppy cafe, but I think things would get a bit too boisterous and lots of cups of tea and coffee would get knocked over :(
