I don’t really “get” the whole Seth Meyers thing, no matter how much I try. I watched him for years on SNL and was always sorta confused by how anyone could think he’s funny. He’s smarmy and thinks he’s super clever and I just never warmed to him. Obviously I’m in the minority there, though, as not only has he transitioned into Jimmy Fallon‘s late night shoes, but now he’s also been tapped to host the 66th Emmy Awards.
“Seth is such a talented performer and writer, and we know he will bring something unique to hosting the Primetime Emmy Awards,” said Bruce Rosenblum, head of the Television Academy, in a statement.
Well, there’s that. The ceremony will be held on August 25th. Neil Patrick Harris hosted last week, in case you forgot. What do you think – will it be good?
agreed. he’s terribly “meh” to be movin’ on up so fast in the world. it baffles meh…
