Miranda Kerr and Orlando Bloom announced their divorce in October, though they’d apparently been separated for months before that. And while they both seem to be honky dory in their new single lives, that doesn’t mean they don’t still love each other. In fact, they really, really do.
As Miranda explained to Harper’s Bazaar Australia:
“It’s difficult for anyone to go through a separation, whether it’s on a public scale or not.
“We still love and care for each other deeply. Flynn [our 2-year-old son] is the most important thing in both our lives. And because we share that bond, we both feel that it’s important to be united.”
“We respect each other and with respect comes understanding. When there’s understanding, I guess everything is a little more harmonious.”
Well, it’s good to see that these two are working things out like mature adults. It’s better not only for them, but for their kid. When adults get nasty upon splitting, it can really fuck kids up. Not to mention it’s just not a great situation to be around for anyone.
