Jennifer Lopez has 5-year-old twins, Emme and Max, with ex-husband and professional troll Marc Anthony, and apparently she’s so good at parenting, she deserves an award. For that reason, she’s getting the Grace Kelly Award from March of Dimes for being a positive role model for women and her dedication to being a good mother. Huh, go figure.
She’ll pick up the award at the March of Dimes luncheon at the Beverly Hills Hotel today, so that’s nice. To be honest, I didn’t know Jennifer Lopez was involved with the organization, but it’s a good one. Here’s her rather short statement on the honour:
“As a mother myself, I am aware of the importance of healthful pregnancies and babies.”
Right, of course. What else do you need to know? Last year, Reese Witherspoon got the award, so take that as you will. (For the record, I actually like J.Lo and have no idea about her kids/personal life/parenting skills, so I’m neutral on this one.)
she might be a good mother – but her grammar sucks. healthful pregnancies? sigh.
I didn’t even know she was a mother o.O
How come Casper isn’t being counted as a dependent as well?
Really an award for being a great mother? Granted I have no idea about what kind of mother she is but seriously why do celebs need an award for everything they do or don’t do?
