Mike Myers and his wife Kelly Tisdale are already parents to a 2-year-old son called Spike (sorry, kid), but now they’re going to be welcoming another baby. That’s right, Kelly is pregnant! That’s really all we know about it, so I’m afraid I have no supporting quotes or anything like that. Mike Myers is just gonna be a dad again.
Oh wait, let’s show what he said to Deadline about fatherhood last month, shall we?
“Anyone who tells you fatherhood is the greatest thing that can happen to you, they are understating it. I am the happiest I have ever been in my life. I knew I wanted to be a father, I didn’t know it was going to be this awesome or that my kid would come out so beautiful and lovely.”
Aw, that’s really sweet, eh? The only thing that sucks is that he’s a bit older when having the kids. By the time this one is 21, he’ll be in his 70s! Kelly is a bit younger – she’s 36 now – and of course there’s no limit to the age you can be when you have children, it’s just a shame for the kids, really (and Mike, as he’ll be getting older/might miss out on a lot of things because of it).
Anyway, congrats to the happy couple, etc.
You’re right…probably much better to have kinds when he’s young and foolish and thinks he knows everything! God, you spill all this shit about not fat shaming, but God forbid someone have their life mentally, emotionally, and financially stable and bring kids into it. I suppose Lohan should get knocked up too, because old parents are just…the grossest.
You didn’t seem to have this same reaction to Halle Berry having at kid, and she’s creeping up on 50! At least Mike isn’t the one with the increased risk of pregnancy factor to worry about.
You seem to be talking about, like, 3 different issues here, so….
I just find it interesting that you’ll make a cooment about him being too old for kids, yet I didn’t see you making the same observations about Halle Berry (which is more dangerous for a woman to have a kid at 47 than it is for the guy).
And if I’m talking about more than one issue, maybe it’s because you’ve said more than one thing that someone would take issue with.
