A quote near the end of the article clearly and concisely sums up this whole debacle:

Amen to that.
Yes, those cancer stricken kids should have thought long and hard before they hitched their wagon to Imus. That’s what they get for hiring him to help them. Wait, they don’t give him money, he gives them money. Justice has been served?
Well, I’m not sure it comes across well but my point is of that very fact. What does not giving money to cancer kids have to do with Imus? The whole article is strange and crazy.
