Emma Watson is going to be hanging out in London for a while, unguarded, where nearly anyone can come up and grab her boobs and she won’t say or do anything about it.
Because she’s made of WAX! (Twist!)
Madame Tussauds (of London) just installed their very own wax Emma Watson. Why? According to the museum’s spokesperson, Nicole Fenner,
People really want to see her as she is now. Since Harry Potter, her popularity has increased on an international scale. We have people from all over the world asking for her. Interest in her is only going to escalate.
Keep in mind that it’s very hard to photograph wax figures with a flash, as the flash makes them look particularly fake, and well, waxy. Waxson probably looks a lot better in real life than she does in these photos. Trust me on this, I have a long history of getting drunk and going to wax museums. Vogue UK has more info on the process of making Emma Waxson:
The wax figurine took four months to make, as sculptor Alex Carlisle meticulously aimed to recreate Watson’s true likeness. A research team provided a mixture of red carpet shots, front and back, as well as recent film stills to help capture her exact proportions. The sculptor was then given a brief with what the figurine should be wearing and what pose. The Elie Saab dress was chosen because it was thought to best encapsulate the star’s “playful and fun” nature.
“The biggest challenge is recreating her expression, that sparkle,” said Carlisle. “It was important to have her looking beautiful. She has a lovely feel to her, so we had to find the right references. She has to be the correct size and height for it to look authentic.”
Whoop de doo! Being super famous must be awesome.
um, my boot looks more like Emma Watson than that wax replica does.
Oh God I just laughed so hard I snorted. Thank you.
