Today's Evil Beet Gossip

Road Trip!

Leo and I are hitting the road this afternoon!

We’re driving back to Phoenix this weekend, where we will pick up my cats and bring them back to their new home in Seattle.

I’m taking a different route than I took on my way here, so we’re going to get to see parts of Idaho and Utah this time, and I’m really excited about that. I’ve never been to those states.

Because it’s hard to blog and drive, posting will be slow for the rest of today and this weekend, but I will still be blogging every night from whatever hotel we’re in, so there will definitely be updates.

Have a great weekend!

xoxo,
Beet

  • You’ll be in Phoenix.. I’m in Phoenix. We should totally get married.
    Fuck yeah!

  • I’m in Phoenix too. avoid Beet’s Personal Vagina Licker at any cost…. Supposed to be 110 by Sunday. Stay cool Beet and Leo!

  • Travel safely. I’m glad to hear you’re reuniting (and it feels so good) with your cats. I thought you had forsaken them.

  • @HM:

I could never forsake my cats! They’re my children, just like Leo! I am so excited to have them back here and to watch the cat v. dog war that will certainly ensue. :)

  • I hope you don’t have to drive through the salt flats. I swear I just wanted to swear off the highway and end the torture! Have a good trip.

  • i am in phoenix too. sounds like you will be going through zion, enjoy it, it is amazing!

if youre going through oregon and idaho, dont expect much from THAT drive, BORRRRRRRRING!

  • 110 degrees? Holy shit. You can keep the USA. I will gladly stay up north in my igloo eating whale meat and hunting baby seals.

  • Have lots of fun & don’t pick up any hitchhikers!!! ;) Can’t wait to see pics of the kitties! It’s over 100 degrees here in VA too…nowhere is safe!

And what the fuck is wrong w/ TSS?!?!

  • Can’t wait to see the slideshow and the hours upon hours of video of your cats and dog.

  • Hooray for Idaho! The southern parts are just a wee bit boring (mainly flat desert with the occasional canyon and/or interesting roadside redneck), but the north is beautiful….if only because that’s where I am.

And Jesus H. Christ! You’re not going to be accosted by mountain folk just by driving through. WooOOOoooo, Idaho, it’s so backwoods and unfamiliar and scary!! You must have us confused with Montana.

  • @ohrosie: didn’t mean to offend, but i have spent time in idaho and i have encountered scary mountain folk at the gas stations. but to be fair, i have also encountered scary mountain folk in other states, too, but we are talking about idaho.

  • No offense taken, quirkygirl. I neglected to add the smartass font to the previous message.
