I lllooovvveee this show! Just like you none of my friends watch it. I tell them every week to watch it, but they think I’m nuts. I think Mady, the sarcastic one, is abslutely hilarious! They are all SUPER smart and I wouldn’t be surprised if some of them turned into little stars when they get older. Kate is pretty critical of John, but she is such a caring mother and has so much stress in her life I guess that’s how she vents. It is pretty funny when they’re sitting on the couch and she’s snapping at him, and he just kind of doesn’t say anything. I wonder what goes on behind the cameras.
Mady is not sarcastic, she is downright mean to her siblings and needs a major attitude adjustment. I wonder how her classmates like her. Her attitude is one of “I’m on tv and you’re not”. She constantly grabs the spotlight. I wonder what will happen if the show finishes (as it should, enough already). Will she be able to adjust not being a “star”? Her mother constantly makes excuses for her bad behavior, when she should be getting her serious help for her jealousy and her constant need for attention be it bad or good. This is the most exploited set of children that I’ve ever seen.

I love to watch the show but I do see Kete showing less and less respect for Jon as she demands more and more of him while critilizing him sharply. He is a wonderful husband and DAD to those children. I don’t think most men would have the patiance that Jon has shown Kate and his children.

I love the show! These kids are adorable… My favorite is Leah. She’s precious! Their all adorable. They’re so smart for their ages! I can totally see at least one of them becoming the next child stars. They have a family that would have their back.
I love this show. Kate and John have their disagreements, but who doesnt. If I had 8 children I would be a screaming bangie. They will be fine. Let up on them. John acts like he can hardly talk. and so Kate does all the talking. What do they say opposites attract. Kate does need to stop putting John down as much as she does in front of the whole world.
i love john and kate plus eight.. but is therir a certain way you can shoot for having more than one in a single birth or is everything kept the same.. im tring for triplets and were not sure whaT TO DO please comment back thanks and keep the shows coming love you all… stay heathy and happy!!

I love watching this show (I’m addicted) and hope that it will continue for years to come to show us all how these gorgeous children grow up in the loving, nurturing and VERY GROUNDED environment firmly established by their awesome parents. Hats off to this very watchable reality show!!!
Good show; bad Kate. She is very organized and,for the most part, an awsome parent. Except when it comes to Mady. She favors her. I am amazed at the disrespect, temper tantrums, bossy behavior and cruelty to her siblings!! She is forever making excuses for Mady. My Mother-in-law, who used to be an avid watcher of the show, has stopped watching becausse she just can’t stand Kate!! Kate also really needs treatment for her OCD. She makes jokes about it but it is not only hard ok her, but it’s very tough on those around her! Can U imagine not being able to do/play anything even remotely messy? Or being her husband and being humiliated & yelled at all the time? She needs to: a) see a shrink b) take mess & c) CHILL!!!
i stumbeled across the show about 4 months ago. watch it faithfully every day. love every episode. the only thing i don’t like is sometimes the way kate talks to jon. he is very laid back and calm. they were at friends house this time and pottied their kids on their potties outside. why? anyway. love the show lots, and lots.
J & K + 8 is my favorite! I make my friends watch it with me and they think its really boring… WHAAAT? it’s hilarious, but i guess i love the show so much because I’ve watched it from season 1. Favs are Alexis and Leah and Aaden, actually all of them, but Alexis is my favorite mainly because her whole aldergator obsession is hilarious

This family is soooooooooo dysfunctional. Kate is disgusting the way she treats Jon. Mady is sorely in need of some psychological treatment for her anger and jealousy issues over the sextuplets. One has to wonder why Kate’s family chooses not to be involved. Now that they have a beautiful big house with a big property, how isolated are the 6 younger ones from socializing with anyone but themselves?
Kate also chooses to criticize the tastes of the previous owners on the show, how mean.I’m sure that the people who bought her previous homes found fault with her tastes.
When the cameras leave, will the kids be able to adjust or will they be like many child stars who spiralled out of control once they were no longer “famous”? The truth hurts, Kate so no wonder you won’t open negative e-mails.

In my opinion, these kids have been and are being exploited. They have been much loved I am certain, but they have been the big meal tickets as well. If not for the kids, who the heck would have watched this show in the first place? Jon, nor Kate work outside the home. They make $50,000.00 to $75,000.00 PER episode!Add that up on your calculater 4-5 times a week! That is a mighty big paycheck every week! Now, the NEW house. Geez, comon, they could use the space I am certain, but I would be pretty happy to live in the barn if there were to be heat in there. Maybe there is??
I think the time has come Gosslin adults, to look deep, INTO the family situation. One can never say for certain what one would do if walking in anothers moccasins, but if that were my FAMILY, not the worlds, (which is in their control) I sure would kick the cameras out, pull out the blankets and pillows and do some private time with all of them. Husband FIRST tho, if the adults aren’t functioning well together, then the whole family can not function together! Of course, one can not help but wonder how the heck they will live with out all the privlages of paid vacations, clothing offers from companies that clothe the kids to promote their brands, special visits to aquariums that are not even open yet and on and on.
