Blind Item: Which Celebrity Is Secretly An Awesome Person?

I don’t know about you guys, but I could personally use a good old fashioned heart warming moment. Something that can bring tears to my eyes by offering proof that not everyone in this world is a stone cold bitch. Something that can provide a little bit of light to carry me through my darkest hour. Do you get what I’m saying?

I spent a hot minute trying to find such an uplifting piece of gossip when I came across this lovely little blind item:

I thought I would tell you about one of the good ones. Oh, he has his faults, but he definitely makes an effort to help others. He is an A lister on television on a very hit show and was in one of the best and most popular movies of the year last year.

Anyway, without any publicity on his part, our actor has made arrangements to purchase 25 tickets to each Lakers and Clippers game to give a chance for impoverished children and their families to attend games which they would otherwise be unable to do. He and his partner also founded an organization which provides after school activities in the arts like music, ballet and drama classes for kids after school. They pay for all the salaries of the instructors and any supplies needed by the kids are also paid for through their efforts.

They have made sure these kids and families have school supplies, Christmas presents and have even paid for birthdays for over a hundred children. The great thing about this, is they have done it all quietly without asking or seeking any attention for their actions.

The most popular guesses for this one are Neil Patrick Harris, Jason Segel, and Jon Hamm, three men that I just love and adore and admire so much. The clues could fit for all three of them: Neil and Jason are both on the “very hit show,” How I Met Your Mother, and they were both in The Muppets last year, which, in case you hadn’t picked up on by now, was absolutely amazing. But Jon Hamm isn’t to be counted out just yet, as he has his own very hit show, Mad Men, and he had a role in Bridesmaids, which was obviously one of the most popular movies of last year. The only thing is the actor in question “and his partner.” Neil and Jon both have long, committed relationships with people that aren’t technically spouses, but there’s no word on Jason’s love life.

My first guess was Neil Patrick Harris, but that’s because whenever I think of celebrities and pure goodness, he’s the first person that comes to mind. What do you guys think? Any other guesses?
