Blind Item: What Singer/Songwriter is Switching Sides?

Which B/C list singer/musician who writes her own songs, recently came to the conclusion that because she has never really experienced a healthy relationship with a man, she might actually be gay? She’s always had really close women friends who she bonds well with, but her relationships with men always seem to go south and she’s never really felt she’s been in love before. She’s decided to explore this new part of herself and we’ll see if any new relationships pop up in the news.

Hm. B/C lister, huh? That’d definitely rule out Christina Aguilera, because as much as I don’t want to admit it, she’s still pretty much A-list despite her alcoholism and diva-like behavior. Plus, I don’t know of any women who’ve been close enough to her to appreciate who she is (ahem, Kelly Osbourne) as a long-term friend. That makes me think maybe someone like Demi Lovato, who’s never had good luck with ex-boyfriends (Jonas and Fez included). Plus, she’s rumored to be “good” friends with Miley Cyrus and Selena Gomez, who are definitely hot little pieces that I could see Demi swooning over. Last, Demi does allegedly write her own songs – most of them, anyway – and she’s definitely kind of B-list, so there’s that, too.

A lot of the folks commenting over at BG say that it could possibly be Kelly Clarkson, but I don’t know about that. I mean, she’s a Republican for God’s sake. The community over there is split between her and Taylor Swift, but I just could not see Taylor Swift as a lesbian. No f-cking way. Could you imagine how disappointed her “all-American” parents would be? How many fans she’d probably lose? Taylor Swift, a lesbian? No way. Also, she’s got no close girlfriends that I’m aware of choosing to speak of.
