See now, how nice is it to have one of the previous night’s posts about that darling (and f-cking hot) Daniel Radcliffe, only to wake up and find that the first post of the following day is also solely dedicated to Daniel? There should be more days like this in the week, my friends.
This time, I have even better news for you, if the news about Dan liking hairy snizatch didn’t just completely put you up over the top (it did me, that’s for sure). Turns out that the rumors about Daniel and Rupert Grint are completely untrue, and the two are actually good friends. From People:
There’s no bad blood between Harry Potter costars Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint.
Despite an interview that Radcliffe recently did that “was blown out of proportion,” the Woman in Black star says he and Grint, 23, are “very, very good friends.”
“It’s just ridiculous,” Radcliffe, 22, told On Air with Ryan Seacrest. “Someone said, ‘Are you in contact with Rupert and Emma [Watson] at the moment?’ And I said, ‘Emma and I have been texting recently, but Rupert and I never text.’ ”
Apologizing to fans who took the quotes the wrong way, he explains, “We have never texted each other in 10 years of filming. We just never have. We are lazy texters. We’ve never texted each other back. And we both know that’s how the other person is.”
But the big-screen besties make up for their lack of digital communication in person.
“I know that the next time I see Rupert, we’ll sit next to each other and chat, and it will be like old times,” Radcliffe says. “It will be fantastic … It’s just that we’re not constantly texting each other.”
So, see? They are BFFs, and doesn’t that kind of make the world a better place – just by that friendship existing and, you know, being genuine? When I first heard the news that Ron and Harry just weren’t that into one another, I didn’t sleep for a week. But now? Maybe I can sleep fitfully, and restart my tradition of falling asleep to Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone (which I stopped last night, because I found it to be extremely inappropriate, especially in light of pubic developments), but I just don’t know yet, guys. Even this kind of news – good news! – may never change how I feel, now, about Daniel Radcliffe.
