O.J. Simpson’s bible, which was gifted to him and features an inscription by Robert Kardashian Sr., has officially sold at auction.
After Kim Kardashian was turned down when attempting to buy the historic book signed by her late father for an offer of $15,000, the bible sold on Saturday, March 29, shortly after 11 p.m. local time for a winning bid of $65,800 — or $80,276 with its buyer’s premium — according to its listing on Goldin Auctions’ website.
Per Goldin, 49 total bids were placed on the item, 14 of which came in during its final day of availability.
Malcolm LaVergne, the executor of Simpson’s estate, told TMZ — which first reported the news of the sale — that he didn’t know the identity of the winning bidder.
