Things are sure to get spicy on the Netflix Rom-Com “Nobody Wants This” in season 2. That’s because show star Adam Brody is being joined by real life wife Leighton Meester when the show returns.
All we know so far is Leighton will play Abby, the middle school nemesis of Kristin Bell’s character Joanne who is now an “Instagram mommy influencer”.
She is not the only newcomer to the cast. Vanity Fair reports Miles Fowler will be joining as a guest star.
The Bottoms alum will play a potential love interest for Justine Lupe’s character Morgan, and is on Brody’s character’s basketball team, the Matzah Ballers.
The Netflix series released in September to rave reviews and was quickly renewed for a second season. Work began on the next installment right away, and filming is set to begin in March, per star Jackie Tohn.
