It’s really madness how many times the decades long show The Simpsons has predicted something that happens in the future.
The show has been thought to have predicted everything from Donald Trumps presidency to the Titanic Submarine implosion.
And way back in 1996 the show had Homer joining a music festival as a side show freak and one scene has stage hands wondering what band ordered the London Symphony Orchestra to play back up. The speculation is that the rappers Cypress Hill did.
The scene goes; “Who is playing with the London Symphony Orchestra?” he asks. “Come on, people. Somebody ordered the London Symphony Orchestra. Possibly while high? Cypress Hill, I’m looking in your direction.”
And last week the LSO had the pleasure of playing with the band just as predicted.
At last week’s concert, the orchestra performed “unique orchestral arrangements” of Cypress Hill’s most well-known songs, according to the event website.
