Rachel Maddow has one of the most popular news hosts on the various news networks and is the number one host on MSNBC where she’s hosted a nightly show since 2008.
But Monday night Rachel returned from an extended hiatus, only to announce she will be cutting back to one night a week starting in May.
Maddow said that she has lots of other things going on and word is she’s wanted to lighten her schedule since signing her contract last year.
For the remainder or April, Rachel will host Monday through Thursday, as she always has. Then in May she’ll just be there Monday nights and a series of guests will host the rest of the week. Which always sucks.
Rachel just finished a book and film based on her podcast, Bag Man.
