It’s not that I think somehow celebrities should know better than the rest of us. I mean hell, some of them feel so entitled they behave in the most heinous of ways. But know that the eyes are upon you.
Actor Ezra Miller was picked up over the weekend by police in Hawaii when things got out of hand at a Karaoke bar.
In a news release, the Hawaii Police Department confirmed the 29-year-old was arrested early Monday and charged for disorderly conduct and harassment over the incidents.
Officers responded to a bar in Hilo, HI on Sunday at around 11:30 p.m., after calls of a ruckus came in.
Police say the actor got “agitated” by people singing karaoke at the bar and then started to use derogatory language.
“Miller began yelling obscenities and at one point grabbed the microphone from a 23-year-old woman singing karaoke and later lunged at a 32-year-old man playing darts,” added the HPD. “The bar owner asked Miller to calm down several times.”
Ah yes, the drunk who wants to dictate what the rest of us do. It’s a classic tale.
No word from Miller’s publicist, but I’m sure he himself will release a statement at some point.
