We all know that Ellen collects homes like she collects Emmys, maybe even more so. And these days the hottest place to buy property is Montecito, aka Santa Barbara. I’ve said it before… if the world is ending, get to Montecito. Because the mega rich have something going on there.
This house is spectacular. According to Dirt.com it was modeled after the Alhambra palace in Granada, Spain.
It clocks in at about 12,000 square feet, has 2.5 acres of manicured land with luscious fruit trees. Interestingly, the home has just 3 bedrooms for all that space. I bet they’re huge though.
