For so many of us, the site of the red brick colonial house from Home Alone sparks instant nostalgia. And when it’s all decked out for the holidays it’s even better. Wanna sleep over?
One lucky group of four will win a night at the house, hosted by Devin Ratray — a.k.a. Buzz McCallister from the original 1990 film, its 1992 sequel Home Alone 2: Lost in New York and the recently released Home Sweet Home Alone!
The place will be decorated (see below) the same way it was in the original film 31 years ago.
The guests stay over on Dec. 12 and will also be able to binge on Kevin’s prized junk food, including Chicago-style pizza and a candlelit “highly nutritious microwavable macaroni and cheese dinner” — just like 8-year-old Kevin, played by Macaulay Culkin, was about to dig into before facing off against burglars Harry and Marv.
Those wishing to stay at the Winnetka, Illinois, property and experience a night like Kevin’s (sans Wet Bandits!) can request to book a $25 stay starting Dec. 7 at 2 p.m. ET, at airbnb.com/homealone.
