This is so messed up. I have so many…. so Alec Baldwin was on the set of a film called ‘Rust’ on Thursday when he fired a prop gun that accidentally killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins and 
wounded director Joel Souza.
Of course, Alec has not been arrested because this was an accident, but the sheriff’s department did say it’s still an open and active case.
I just don’t understand how this happens. The guns have blanks in them.
Back in 1993 Brandon Lee, (son of the great Bruce Lee), died in a similar way on the set of The Crow.
In Lee’s case the blank was defective and basically he was shot and killed by fellow actor Michael Massee. In that case Massee was also not charged because it was all an unfortunate accident.
No comment has been released from Baldwin at this time, but I’m sure Alec is in a world of pain. He’s a very passionate man and this is the kind of thing that just has to mess with your head for a long time.

New Mexico movie set of the Alec Baldwin film “Rust,” a report said. The filming location at Bonanza Creek Ranch in Sante Fe was initially sent into lockdown and production was halted following what was characterized by a production spokesperson as an “accident.”
