Country Music fans are often swept into the category of religious right and I don’t want to be that general. Tennesse, by southern standards, is a pretty progressive town.
Still there’s no denying that the upcoming Garth Brooks show at the Kansas City Arrowhead Stadium will likely be highly attended by the unvaccinated.
That’s why Garth and Kansas City Chiefs President Mark Donovan announced this week that at his August 7 concert, individuals who have yet to receive the vaccine can visit the onsite COVID-19 vaccination clinic.
I think this is a great idea, although I’m legit nervous for the people working in the clinic, because some people are really ready to die on that hill. The whole “don’t inject me with 5G” shit.
“We’re going to continue to take advantage of every opportunity we can to create vaccination opportunities,” Donovan said. “We’ve got a little concert coming up here with Garth Brooks with about 70,000-plus fans, and we’re working on having a vaccination site on-site for the concert.”
Tickets for the August 7 show range from $52 to $22,000.
