Dave Grohl and the Foo Fighters returned to the stage last night at the Canyon Club in Agoura Hills, Ca., but they were met with more than just adoring fans.
The Foo Fighters show had a contingency to coming to see there show. You must be vaccinated. Understandable. You don’t want a crowd dancing and screaming along side of one another, spreading one of the deadliest viruses of our lifetime.
But anti-vaxers took great offense to that. I’m not even sure they wanted to see the show. They just wanted to bitch about the bands caution and concern for their fans.
Attendees of the concert posted about the protesters on social media. One user wrote, “some real low-quality humans at the @foofighters show in agoura hills CA tonight,” while another said, “This is what happens when you just want to attend a @foofighters concert at a small local concert hall and the next thing out know you’re a ‘Vaccine Segregationist.’”
The Canyon Club show kicked off around 9:30 p.m. with Grohl promising the sold out crowd, “Tonight we’re gonna play until the cops get called or I fucking collapse.” God I love him.
Regardless, the protestors did little disrupting and the night was great as expected.
