Harvey Weinstein, the Miramax president and Hollywood rapist, will be shipped out to Los Angeles from the New York jail he’s currently in.
A judge ruled Tuesday that he will face sex charges in California.
The Erie County judge ordered the sexual predator — who has been locked up at Wende Correctional Facility since his conviction in New York last year — to be shipped off to LA by early July.
The disgraced filmmaker was indicted in April by a jury in the Golden State on 11 counts of sexual assault.
Weinstein’s attorney, Norman Effman, argued at a Tuesday hearing that Weinstein needed medical care and was being housed in Wende’s medical facility.
Effman said he would not get the same treatment at an LA County jail — a claim that prosecutors disputed.
