As they say at Vogue, “Gird your loins”… Queen Elizabeth II has issued a statement regarding revelations revealed in the Oprah interview with Harry and Meghan on Sunday night.
As you likely expected, it’s mostly fluff.
“The issues raised, particularly that of race, are concerning. Whilst some recollections may vary, they are taken very seriously and will be addressed by the family privately,” the queen said.
“Harry, Meghan and Archie will always be much loved family members,” she added.
BTW, “recollections may vary” is cold as ice.
It is understood the Queen waited until Tuesday to comment on the tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey so Britons had the chance to watch it first – but they are not expected to make any further comments.
