So naturally contracting the worst viral illness of the day can’t possibly have any benefits, can it? Enter Grimes.
The singer and mother of X Æ A-Xii, who she shares with Elon Musk, contracted Covid 19 and says she’s “Finally got 
COVID but weirdly enjoying the DayQuil fever dream. 2021.”
Grimes. Many of us have known the joy of the Quil. Both the day and night variety.
The Canadian singer-songwriter, whose real name is Claire Elise Boucher, is isolating, which put baby care more in the hands of daddy Musk. Who says he’s not real involved right now.
“There’s not much I can do” he said, adding that Grimes has “a much bigger role than me right now.” Musk said in an interview.
In the same interview he explained the name they gave their son. X Æ A-12.
“First of all, my partner is the one that, actually, mostly, came up with the name….Yeah, she’s great at names”. lol That makes me laugh everytime I hear it.
On its pronunciation, Musk clarified, “I mean it’s just X, the letter X. And then, the Æ is, like, pronounced ‘Ash.’ Yeah. And then, A-12 is my contribution.”
Grimes went into more detail about the name on Twitter explaining that X stands for the “unknown variable” and Æ for “love &/or Artificial intelligence.”
Later, the couple changed their son’s name to X Æ A-Xii.
During a July interview with the New York Times, the couple referred to their son as “Little X” or “Lil Nas X.” Musk told the outlet that he was taking a backseat during the newborn period. “There’s not much I can do” he said, adding that Grimes has “a much bigger role than me right now.”
