Yea, sure, my 78 year old mother isn’t on IG. But who knew there were people under 60 still holding out? JD was.
Johnny Depp joined the gram this week and that’s significant for a couple of reasons. For starters, it’s the only social media he partakes in. Props to the gram. And he’s always had this whole “too kool for skool” way about him and IG is so main stream.
In his first post, the actor seemingly took the opportunity to address the Amber Heard situation — thanking his fans for their ‘unwavering support.’
He posted an 8-minute long video on the platform discussing several topics including the horrible reality of the Coronavirus.
In the clip, Depp finishes his first Instagram post with this “on a more, I suppose, personal note — thank you all for your kindness your unwavering support and your strength over these years.”
You might say “are you sure that’s code for supporting me during the whole Amber thing? He also added #JusticeForJohnnyDepp.
I’ll be honest with you. I could not even sit for the whole video. He is just so odd. “Hello to whoever is receiving this transmission”… as he reports from what appears to be the bottom of an old French well.
