Sofia Vergara is currently finishing the last season of “Modern Family” but it sounds like she might already have her next job in the wings as Gabrielle Union‘s replacement on NBC’s “America’s Got Talent.”
Sofia sat down for a meeting with “AGT” execs this week to discuss filling the seat left empty by Union, also who had a “productive” meeting of her own with NBC following the star-making complaints of workplace discrimination, which she believes ultimately led to her dismissal. It actually surprises me Sofia would take the job if these accusations are floating around out there.
Sources at TMZ claim the Sofia was 20 minutes late for her meeting with NBC president Paul Telegdy and “AGT” production company, Fremantle. They didn’t hold her tardiness against her, however, going on to discuss not only the reality competition show, but other potential opportunities with the network, including a new drama series and or possible Spanish-language show on NBC owned network Telemundo.
