It’s an opera titled “Mary” and Kanye West is hoping that by this Sunday (Dec 22) he will have it completely assembled and ready for an audience.
This is actually Kanye’s second opera in as many months. He debuted “Nebuchadnezzar” at Art Basel Miami last month. But I digress…
The opera was seen in rehearsal and it looks visually amazing. The show is clearly a religious play with his tweet including several verses from the bible that just left me confused. But the picture suggests a sort of nativity scene, so I think we can see it’s a retelling of the birth of Jesus, just Kanyefied.
So it should be really interesting to see what he’s come up with. The costumes are bananas in the best way possible.
