Ben Affleck seems like an intelligent man. So I was skeptical… and yet devoured, the buzz about him being on Raya. The dating app for celebrities.
Here’s how it works. Men and women who consider themselves particularly attractive go on the app and get vetted for hotness. Then celebs go on and pick out the ones the want. Much like you might at Amazon. I’m sure those that use the app will claim there’s a much more dignified process and purpose to it all, but don’t be fooled.
Amy Schumer famously met her boyfriend from several years ago on the app and seemed happy with her decision. My concern/issue is that you can’t possibly block out the notion these people are with you specifically to date famous people. You can’t ever know if they really care about you. But hey, to each there own. Back to Ben.
With his one true love, Jen Garner, 100% over him, he’s bounced between a few women while in and out of rehab. But now Page Six says he’s hitting up Raya, amusingly, because he’s looking for love.
“He seems to want a real partner and is not looking to date a celebrity. He is private and is in a good space right now.”
Meanwhile, Affleck was spotted on a date with a young brunette a couple of weeks ago at the Hotel Bel-Air.
“It seemed innocent, like a first date. He was in a good [mood], and they both seemed really into each other,” said a spy. “There was no overt PDA or anything like that. They were having dinner.”
So who knows!
