So you know about Bella Thorne’s “hack job” where supposedly photos were taken from her phones. And in response to demands she received from the hackers, she decided to just release the photos herself.
The pics were of Bella, topless and she looks great. I personally question if there was ever even a hack and if maybe Bella didn’t just want to put out nudes of herself, but that’s not what this is about.
So on Monday’s “The View”, Whoopie kind of went off about the leaked pics. She had a legit point (Don’t put nudes on your phone), but as always, she had zero decorum and ended up basically victim blaming.
“If you’re famous, I don’t care how old you are, don’t take nude pictures of yourself,” Goldberg said. “When they’re hacking you, they’re hacking all of your stuff. So whether it’s one picture or a million pictures, once you take that picture, it goes into the cloud and it’s available for any hacker that wants it. If you don’t know that in 2019, that this is an issue … You cannot be surprised that someone has hacked you, especially if you have stuff on your phone. That’s why they’re hacking you.”
In response, Bella has posted a teary video saying she feels “pretty disgusting, Whoopi, knowing everyone’s seen my s–t’ … I hope you’re happy … I can only imagine all of the kids who have their s–t released and then they commit suicide.” Yikes! That should get to her.
She also said she plans to cancel an upcoming appearance on the ABC talk show “because I don’t want to be beaten down by a bunch of older women for my body and my sexuality.” A rep for “The View” didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment on whether Thorne was actually scheduled for an appearance. OH SNAP.
