Tear-prone former Speaker of the House John Boehner is writing a memoir.
The tome, “Notes From a Smoke-Filled Room,” will tout the pol’s old-school style, we hear.
Publisher Thomas Dunne Books boasts that “in a world of kale chips, cold-pressed coffee and soul cycles, he’s a man of Camels, good wine and frequent tee times.”
Boehner once recounted a meeting with Barack Obama: “I’m smoking a cigarette, and they bring me a glass of merlot. And we’re sitting there a little while, and here’s the president drinking iced tea and chomping on Nicorette.”
