Artie Lange’s had another health scare.
The 50-year-old comedian on Saturday was slated to perform at the Goodyear Theater in Akron, Ohio, but did not make the show due to medical complications arising from his battle with diabetes, TMZ reported.
Lange, shock jock Howard Stern’s sidekick from 2001 until 2009, felt under-the-weather due to elevated sugar levels as result of his condition, the website reported. He’s also a raging drug addict. So I’m sure that doesn’t help.
The comic was advised by his doctor to avoid boarding a plane in his native New Jersey as result of his ailment, and to check into a nearby hospital instead.
Lange fell ill during a previous flight in which he had similar symptoms, insiders told the outlet, adding that he’s feeling better after a trip to an emergency room in the Garden State.
Here’s Artie the last time he was in the hosp for the same reasons.
