Mob movie actor Frank Vincent has died.
The “Sopranos” tough guy suffered a heart attack last week and died during open heart surgery at a hospital in New Jersey on Wednesday, according to TMZ. He was 78 years old.
In the HBO drama, Vincent played Phil Leotardo.
Vincent is also known for his roles in Scorsese flicks “Goodfellas” and “Raging Bull.”
Maureen Van Zandt, the wife of Vincent’s “Sopranos” co-star Steven Van Zandt, took to Twitter to pay her respects.
“We lost one of our family today,” she wrote. “Frank Vincent. Wonderful actor and lovely man. Rest In Peace, Frankie.”
