Anthony Scaramucci, the short-lived White House communications director, is making the rounds on TV next week.
Scaramucci will be interviewed by George Stephanopoulos on ABC’s “This Week” on Sunday. Then he’ll appear on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” on CBS on Monday.
And if you were thinking “he’s probably on the standard apology tour”, think again. The man is still going hard at Ryan Lizza, the New Yorker reporter that exposed Mooch’s expletive laden descriptions of fellow White House staffers.
Just last night he tweeted:
.@RyanLizza is the Linda Tripp of 2017. People know. And he is up at night not being able to live with himself.

Tripp, of course, was the one who secretly recorded Monica Lewinsky’s phone calls. She was indicted on a charge of it, though the case was later dropped. Scaramucci later clarified that he was indeed accusing Lizza of a similar crime. “He absolutely taped the call without my permission. #lowlife,” Scaramucci tweeted.
Btw, much to my delight, Lewinsky noted the tweet:
