Justin Bieber collided with a photographer Wednesday night while driving a pickup truck in Beverly Hills, cops said.
The pop star was in front of the Saban Theater when his truck came into contact with the pedestrian around 9:30 Los Angeles time, according to the Beverly Hills Police Department.
The 57-year-old photographer, Maurice Lamont, was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Bieber remained at the scene until the investigation concluded.
The paparazzo insisted that Bieber is “a good kid,” but pointed out how the accident may have happened.
“I think the truck was a little bit too big for him, though, because there’s no way he could see over the front,” Lamont said in an Instagram video from the hospital. “He got out, he was compassionate — he’s a good kid. accidents happen.”
The “Despacito” singer had recently canceled his world tour and decided to take a break.
