It was announced on Wednesday that Game of Thrones showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss are creating a new series for HBO called Confederate that will imagine a world in which the American South won the Civil War and slavery remained legal. Madness. 
Confederate will take place “in an alternative timeline,” according to HBO’s press release, in which the southern states have created a nation where “slavery … has evolved into a modern institution,” and the North and South are divided by “the Mason-Dixon Demilitarized Zone.”
Like Game of Thrones, the show will follow a large ensemble cast, including “freedom fighters, slave hunters, politicians, abolitionists, journalists, the executives of a slave-holding conglomerate and the families of people in their thrall,” as Confederate progresses to “the Third American Civil War.”
The show will begin production after the final season of Game of Thrones. But the feedback right out the gate isn’t good. Personally, I’m with these twitter folks. I couldn’t even bring myself to watch that mess. Total fail.

Just more libitard fairy tail story designed to be divisive in today’s American culture. The American Civil War never had to happen killing 600,000 citizens if Lincoln and the Northeastern industrialists had not put a 30% plus tariff on Southern goods being shipped to England which forced the South to sell goods to the Northern states. Otherwise the economy of the Northern States would have failed. Also, slavery was ending in the world and would have in the USA as well.
