After six years and a $2.5 million renovation, rock star Brandon Flowers of The Killers is reluctantly parting with his luxe home in Las Vegas. The singer recently put the pedigreed place on the market for $4.95 million.
The estate’s former residents include casino magnate Howard Hughes, who built the home in 1961.
The estate is especially prized for a number of reasons, including a private well that keeps the landscape an oasis of green in this desert climate, a two-story guesthouse, and a music room.
The 8,299-square-foot, Spanish–style compound has six bedrooms, seven bathrooms, and 2 half-baths. The main residence includes a fitness studio, an updated open kitchen, and a staircase imported from Belgium.
